Accessibility statement

We want this site to work for everyone, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard, magnification, or prefer less motion. It was built accessible from the start rather than fixed afterwards with an overlay.

The standard

The site aims to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA, which also covers Israeli Standard 5568.

What we did

• Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline everywhere.
• A “skip to the effects” link is the first thing the keyboard reaches.
• Text and its background meet AA contrast; the lowest pair on the site is 5.3 to 1.
• Anything that moves by itself for more than a few seconds has its own pause button. If your system asks for reduced motion, recordings stay still and effects start at rest.
• Recordings have no sound. Each effect is also described in words beside it.
• Purely decorative animation is hidden from screen readers.
• Pages keep working when text is enlarged to 200%.

How it was checked

Automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.2 AA (no violations), manual keyboard testing, contrast measured for every colour pair, and testing with reduced motion switched on. Last checked 23 October 2026.

Known limitations

• The effects are visual by nature. A screen reader user gets the description of each effect, its settings and its requirements, but not the experience of the animation itself.
• Some live demos respond to a pointer, so their interactive part needs a mouse or touch.
